Nestled in a charming town, Hostal La Plaza proved to be a delightful base for my New Year's escapade. My room was spacious and tranquil, featuring a private balcony that offered serene views, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The bar and restaurant on-site served beautifully presented meals, where the friendly staff truly enhanced the dining experience with their warm hospitality. It's essential to mention some maintenance concerns regarding the bathroom, where the lack of a shower lip led to water spilling across the floor, and the overall privacy felt compromised. Despite these issues, the location is ideal, centrally situated and just a short distance from major attractions, making it convenient for anyone looking to soak in the local culture. While Hostal La Plaza has a lot to offer as an eco-conscious traveler, I hope the management addresses these concerns, ensuring it meets the high expectations that many of us hold for such a lovely property. Would I return? Absolutely, but I'd keep my expectations in check for a perfect experience.
